After watching multiple back to back news stories on violent and fatal attacks on women in Australia in 2016, ByMySide founder could not just sit idle and let injustice prevail. With an overpowering urge to do something, he set to work networking with social advocates & industry leaders to develop a mobile phone app that would help protect vulnerable individuals from opportunistic predators.

 

The App was designed to be convenient and easy to use, provide reliable and comprehensive protection and importantly to be cost effective so that it could be accessible by all. Uniquely; the app was also built in a modular platform that which makes it customizable for the users’ needs and integrateable with our wearable tech devices.  Being proudly Australian designed and owned, ByMySide is also a product of high quality.

 

As the ByMySide concept evolved, the app has grown into business dedicated to protecting vulnerable individuals and lone workers.
